i once knew you.
dear you, i caught a glimpse of you today and these thoughts crawled into my mind. the problem is this: once you create an image of yourself in your head that you believe directly correlates to the standards of acceptance in society, you begin to create a place for yourself in that image and you begin to work hard to uphold that image because, people are watching you.  you become a prisoner....

thought tonight, IX.
how a seed can be planted inside of soil and the soil can comfort the seed, be with the seed for weeks, help grow the seed, create a home for the seed, even help the seed stand straight as it grows - but still, not really know the seed that it is nurturing and witnessing grow. how is it possible for the soil to witness the growth of a seed from its very birth but not know what troubles it endured...

"homeless" doesn't mean less than human.
